Useful Maintenance History
Reports, photos, emails, and visit notes contain useful operational knowledge. FSM is being built to make that history easier to reuse.
FSM is designed to help teams understand previous visits, recurring issues, and site context before the next job starts.
Reports, photos, engineer notes, emails, quotes and asset records all carry useful context. They explain what was found, what was changed, what was recommended and what still needs attention. Too often, that context is buried by the time the next visit happens.
One of the core ideas behind Automatry FSM is that maintenance history should become useful working knowledge. If a fault keeps returning, if a part has already been discussed, or if a client was promised a follow-up, the system should help bring that back into view.
A better starting point
Engineers should not have to start from scratch every time they attend a familiar site. Office teams should not have to reconstruct the story from old emails. The previous work should give everyone a better starting point.
FSM is being developed to connect the operational trail: job history, visit outcomes, report content, asset issues and follow-up actions. The value is not just storing information, but making it easier to find and trust when it matters.
AI where it helps
We are using AI carefully inside FSM, mainly where it can reduce friction: summarising history, helping draft useful reports, surfacing related information and supporting triage. It does not replace engineering judgement. It gives that judgement better context.
The goal is straightforward: less lost knowledge, fewer repeated conversations, and a clearer view of what has actually happened across a building over time.
